Buffalo Excellence and Nutritional Innovation: the Caputo Farm Story

Giovanni Caputo tells the story of the buffalo farm founded by his grandfather in 1972.

Over time, herd size increased and currently numbers 860 head, of which 450 are in milk. Average daily milk production is around 11 L per head, with milk quality reaching 8.50% fat and 4.85% protein.

The farm manages 80 hectares, dedicated to the cultivation of maize and forage crops.

The collaboration with Tecnozoo began 15 years ago, and the farm is followed by Dr. Gianluca Cuccaro.

“We have achieved excellent fertility results thanks to the product Oligovit Premix 3B. Through the collaboration between Tecnozoo and De Bottis feed mill, an energy concentrate was formulated specifically for our farm, helping us maintain consistent milk quality throughout the year.”
