What is FAMI-QS
It is a feed and premixture management system that certifies the safety, legality, and quality of feeds and premixtures, also addressing integrity (understood as the prevention of food fraud) and food defence, intended as the protection of the production site from any possibility of contamination or intentional adulteration aimed at harming the consumer or the company’s image.
FAMI-QS is a European code of good practice for companies operating in the production of feed additives and premixtures, ensuring full compliance with current sector regulations, in particular with the principles of Regulation (EC) No. 183/2005.
From farm to fork
This is the current approach of food legislation: the only way to guarantee full safety of the food we consume is through complete control of the entire supply chain, of all raw materials and their constituents, including animal nutrition, which represents a key element of the food chain.
FAMI-QS and Tecnozoo: safety at the core
Embracing this philosophy since 1984, Tecnozoo has decided to further raise the bar by obtaining FAMI-QS certification, as a guarantee of its commitment and efficiency in producing safe, high-quality premixtures.
