Normoterm Line: the solution comes from nature

normoterm line

Discover all the features of the Normoterm line

Numerous studies on natural phytocompounds such as polyphenols and salicylates have clearly demonstrated their effectiveness in animal metabolism. These compounds act as antioxidants—thereby preventing cellular damage caused by lipid peroxidation of the cell membrane—and help attenuate inflammatory conditions.

In particular, the complementary feeds of the NORMOTERM LINE:

  • Support energy metabolism
  • Stimulate appetite in the post-partum period and promote greater dry matter intake
  • The plant-based component supports oxidative balance
  • Facilitate the restoration of physiological balance, even in cases of flu-like syndromes, heat stress, and seasonal changes.

Discover below all the characteristics of the products in the Normoterm line.

NORMOTERM

Normoterm

Spirea ulmaria

Main constituents: flavonoid glycosides, phenolic glycosides, salicylaldehyde, polyphenols.

Main indications: inflammatory conditions, fluid retention, edema formation. The plant is traditionally used for the symptomatic treatment of joint pain, febrile states, and flu-like conditions. In addition to salicylates, spirea contains flavonoids (0.5%), vitamin C, and tannins.

Salix alba

Main constituents: phenolic glycosides, salicylic acid, flavonoids, tannins.

Main indications: febrile and inflammatory states, rheumatic and arthritic pain. Salicylic acid is a substance that was first extracted from the bark of the white willow. This substance is produced by plants to protect themselves from chemical, physical, and biological attacks; it is an anti-inflammatory compound useful in various febrile conditions as an antipyretic or mild analgesic.

NORMOTERM ORAC

Normoterm Orac

Concentrated phenols and polyphenols obtained from hydrolyzed lignocellulose

LIGNIN is a heavy polymeric complex composed of phenylpropanoid units. Three monomers are present in different proportions in all lignins: coniferyl alcohol, coumaryl alcohol, and sinapyl alcohol. The combination of these monomers creates a class of phenols commonly known as lignans, which in plants play a defensive role against pathogens (fungi, bacteria, and viruses) and provide antioxidant protection to sensitive plant parts (young branches, leaves, buds, fruits) against solar radiation. Lignans, when introduced into the diet of mammals, are modified by intestinal bacteria and subsequently absorbed.

Products obtained from the processing of plant materials (White Willow – Spirea Ulmaria)

Salicylic acid (which in the active component of aspirin becomes acetylsalicylic acid) is a substance first extracted from the bark of the white willow. This substance is produced by plants to protect themselves from chemical, physical, and biological attacks and is an anti-inflammatory compound useful in various febrile conditions.

NORMOTERM FLUID

Normoterm Fluid

PP vitamin

It is the main constituent of a coenzyme with marked antilipolytic, hyperglycemic, and hypoketogenic activity; it stimulates production, increases milk fat content, and reduces excess NH₃ at the hepatic level. Its use helps improve metabolic conditions and feed intake in animals.
