With the “The Farmer Tells the Story” series, we give a voice to the heart of the sector: to those who work to improve their performance and to those who share our passion for livestock farming. "Il Carro" Agricultural Farm

Il Carro Agricultural Farm, founded in 2015 from the vision of the D’Ambruoso family, has turned the challenge of producing high-quality goat milk into a model of excellence. Thanks to teamwork with Tecnozoo, head herdsman Sergey Murza, nutritionist Alessandro Matarrese, and veterinarian Fabio Bencetti, the farm has achieved outstanding milestones: agronomic and nutritional innovations, a well-balanced unifeed ration, and targeted supplementation have resulted in top-quality milk and prestigious awards, including six gold medals at Caseus 2024.

With an average longevity of 3.5 lactations and only 25% replacement rate, Maurizio’s farm stands out for efficiency and profitability, selling 15–20 heifers per year. Reproductive performance is also excellent: first insemination at 14.8 months, 56% pregnancy rate at first insemination, and an almost complete absence of post-partum disorders. The Tecnozoo team, with Michele Modotto and Francesco Mantovani, manages nutrition using Dry Cow Fertil PA, Premio Close Up Mg, and the liquid feed Sinergy Glucoplus, improving fertility, health, and the start of lactation.

Diego and Mauro Giannoni of Milk World Agricultural Farm share their experience of the collaboration with Tecnozoo, which began four years ago. “The main products we use are Tecnomilk 18/50, a milk replacer that, in my opinion, offers high digestibility, and the Multiparticle Starter feed, which—thanks to its high palatability—calves begin consuming from the 7th day of life.” The future goals of Milk World Agricultural Farm include improving genetic selection and installing a milking robot, with a focus on enhancing animal welfare.
