The Tecnozoo method for outstanding results.

For the column “The Farmer Tells the Story”, the spotlight is on Antonella Bianchi, owner together with her brother Amedeo Bianchi of the Dosso Pallavicino Agricultural Farm in Cicognolo, in the province of Cremona.

Antonella took over from her father, who purchased the farm in 1963. Today, daily operations are managed by the Civettini family. “Our collaboration with Tecnozoo has been ongoing for almost 10 years. I have relied on Tecnozoo since 2014. We are supported by a team consisting of Dr. Pierantonio Boldrin, Dr. Giovanni Marcato, and Giampiero Molinari for all technical aspects.”

Improvements in both management and nutrition have been numerous, as confirmed by Dr. Giovanni Marcato: “When we first started, the farm used commercial concentrates for cattle feeding. We later chose to manage nutrition using exclusively raw materials. We achieved significant results: first of all, herd size increased substantially, growing from around 400 cows to about 600. From a production standpoint, we made major progress, moving from approximately 28–29 kg of milk to the current average of about 38 kg, with excellent quality, particularly in terms of meeting vitamin and mineral requirements.”
