Herd Performance and Health: the effects of the Tecnozoo approach

“In our farm, we place great importance on the raw materials used for feeding, which are the foundation for achieving specific meat quality standards.” Thanks to this management approach, results have not been long in coming: the average daily weight gain of Charolaise cattle reaches 1.1 kg per day.

The agricultural production from the farm’s own fields, combined with Tecnozoo’s support, makes it possible to formulate a well-balanced ration: “We are very satisfied, as they provide both consultancy services and supplies, such as supplements and other raw materials that we can include in our feeding program. From a service standpoint, we are also very pleased with the collaboration involving our veterinarian, which has represented an additional advantage in improving our farm through more precise management.”

The main products used are two: the first, used during the housing phase, is Hepatos, a detoxifying and immunostimulant product; the second is Beef 200 Extra OE, a mineral feed supplement enriched with essential oils.
