Sorghum is considered a highly sustainable crop, containing over 730 million nucleotides and 30,000 genes, 75% more than crops such as rice.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its ability to adapt to climate change and water stress, sorghum is the fifth most cultivated cereal in the world and is consumed by more than 750 million people, also for its nutritional properties.<\/p>\n

Its greatest interest, however, lies in livestock farming, both as forage and concentrate, especially in areas where water resources are limited.<\/p>\n
